Formula G is the UK's hottest race series for gymkhana, a tight and technical racing format. Two drivers compete on mirrored tracks consisting of hairpins, 180s and obstacles like the ‘washing machine’ that requires the driver to 360 a barrel with three closed sides – the fastest driver over both courses wins. Focussing more on agility than outright speed, it is an incredibly accessible motorsport format.

After a change of ownership, Formula G asked Studio Quercus for a brand update to match their new ambitions, and we were more than happy to help. Along with a new mark, logotype and updated palette, Studio Quercus helped to apply the brand across flags, tyre stacks, course maps and even cnc-etched trophies.
